I had to return this backpack, because it was so small. Granted, I should have checked the actual dimensions, but my niece wanted this Vera Bradley backpack, so I ordered it. We ended up buying the laptop backpack instead, which she loves! This small one is definitely not suited for students, because it's not large enough to carry books or binders.

I bought 5 VB Backsacks. 9 days later they went on sale $13 less for each. I called to see if they would refund the difference since I didn't want to return them. Was on the phone a total of 23 minutes after long stay on hold. They gave me a gift certificate for a future purchase. Not ideal but fair enough. So then I ordered 6 backpacks and while trying to get each separate one In the cart, it sold out of 2 of them. Had to pick color kids didn't ask for and check out before they all sold out. Then it would not accept my card even though it had plenty of money on it. Switched to another card, put in the aforementioned gift certificate and finished the checkout. Only it didn't subtract the certificate amount. Called customer service and of course stayed on hold another way too long. Finally, CS lady basically says too bad about the 2 taken out of my cart while trying to get their website to work. She can't explain why it happened. She says they will eventually credit my card back AFTER the order has shipped. And oh yeah, no refunds. And no order cancellation. And you must pay for shipping & insurance to make a return.

My daughter loves this! It was here exactly when it was estimated to be, we are very happy with our new bag!
